Taking pieces

and making peace…

This Summer continues to bring change.  My Mom turned 81 and shortly thereafter was diagnosed with Lyme disease.  She doesn’t have a whole lot of spring left for bouncing back, and recovery, let alone daily living, has been a challenge for her.  For all of us.  She is full of piss and vinegar, which has helped her grow to be 81 years old.  Discussion of her moving has become more than just talk.  We are going at her pace and trying to maintain balance, health, sanity and peace for all.

Peace piecedPiecefully, Pam

P.S. Lois, Miriam and Mazie – thank you for your comments on my previous post.  Bridging is something I made up.  No one taught it to me. It’s my go-to technique  for keeping wonky shapes stabilized while I’m hand appliqueing.  ; )  And, I have heard and even watched back basting and am thinking of giving it a try sometime.  I think it seems very clever and useful!  Thank you for sharing with me!  ❤
